Inspiring Others

November 30, 2015

To have someone who inspires us in a positive way, can help us to take control, reclaim our passion, power and purpose in life. We are always searching for inspiration, but sometimes it’s hard to lead by example and be an inspiration to others. The media constantly tries to shape us into the same image as what they consider to be role models; so standing out and having the strength and courage to be honest with ourselves, can be the source of inspiration to those around us.

Every day, try to be the person you value yourself to be: the best version of you, on your terms. No one will be able to believe in you until you fully believe in yourself. Avoid playing the victim, and allow your imagination and creativity to flow. Try getting away from all the typical routines and focus on figuring out what you want to be and do in the world, in order to find the courage and commitment to pursue what is necessary to reconnect to your inner essence.

Our activity and thoughts are positive or negative like magnets. Looking at something in a new and more positive way allows you to look at new possible solutions and to motivate yourself. Put your energy on doing something you love to do, the more passionate you are about what you do, the more likely people are to be inspired by your actions. Being an awesome person is about being redefined each and every day, that’s why is so important to pursue your passions in life.

Choose to see the greatness within yourself. Some of us fail to make an effort to recognise all the positive things in our lives. Our own negativity spread to others around us. The good news is that the more we think positively, the more proactively we will act and the more prepared we become to accept positive options. It’s important to acknowledge that you can be an inspiration to others, no matter what you feel you have or have not achieved, because any activity that is done with all your heart will reach out to others. You have the ability to inspire even if you feel that you haven’t achieved your goal, or if you are not in a good place in life: how you deal with your own circumstances can impact other lives. Start being a positive light, and let your inner self shine selflessly, and sooner or later, people will start admiring you for the person that you are.

Honouring your true self is not about trying to hide your flaws, and pretending to be perfect. It’s good to remind the people in your life that you also have your own set of weaknesses. Your ability to overcome and deal with these weaknesses is what can make you connect with them in a deeper level. We are all humans and we can all relate to the vulnerability that we see in others, what inspires us the most is to have someone that despite any circumstance is able to recognise and remember all the small things for which we should be grateful for.

Surround yourself with positivity and with people who inspires you in different ways. The friends we surround ourselves with can have an overwhelming impact on our wellbeing. Encourage negative people to learn ways of being positive, but if you feel that their toxic views are affecting you, stay away. The thing that will hold you back from inspiring others more than anything else is pessimism.

Let go of fear in order to be spontaneous and get outside your comfort zone. Fear is what holds back creativity. It makes you stick to the paths that you know, and it stops you from exploring new possibilities. Allow yourself to live in the moment but if you feel the need to think about the future, try daydreaming. Think about your goals. Attract positive vibes with your intentions by visualising positive steps to get where you want to be. Break your goal down into small chunks, and reward yourself along the way. Often our best ideas seem to come out of nowhere while we’re daydreaming.

Write positive things about yourself and your life in a journal, take photos about good moments for your Instagram, write about positive things on Twitter; use social media to help you to recognise and remember all the things you’re grateful for.

Remember that we will all fall down and make mistakes, but life is about how we get back up again and maintain our focus. Do not listen to your ego and you will be able to develop a more selfless, humble attitude towards life. Lead a positive life and always keep in mind that beautiful minds inspire others.
