Every time you doubt yourself, you are limiting your abilities. Reflect on your fears and notice how much they affect your life. To live in fear, causes you and those around you to suffer. Fear-based decision making may be holding you back from living. When you live in fear, you are always thinking about all the things that could go wrong. Uncertainty is unavoidable, but you need to understand that you can not control everything that happens in your life. You create your life. Changing your atitude, changes what happens to you. If you want good things to happen to you, you have to be in the mindset of expecting success. When you adopt a positive perspective, you can see change as an opportunity. When you don’t look for concrete ways for achieving your dreams and goals, you end up feeling unhappy and dissatisfied with your choices.
Developing greater awareness of your thoughts and what triggers them, is a large part of adopting a more positive atitude and letting go of doubt and fear. You are solely responsible for your life and the sole instrument of change. To trust yourself is a liberating and transformative experience, but in order to trust your intuition and be sure of your choices, you need to have a strong connection to your inner self. Your inner self is who you really are on the inside. To know your inner self is to know your purpose, your values, your visions, your motivations. When you have self knowledge you stop searching for answers outside of yourself. Allowing fear to keep you stuck in life, holds you back from God’s blessings.
The truth is that you know what you have to do to be happy, but doubt and fear are keeping you in your comfort zone. You already know that you can do and be anything, but you have talked yourself out of it based on negative feelings. Letting go of fear is scary, but only by releasing fears and worries and replacing it for faith and trust, you can achieve your goals. When I sense that fear is taking over my decisions, I silently release good intentions and ask for divine guidance. You can do the same by saying the following: I let go of fear, and I trust the divine to guide me and to take care of it. When you are stuck in life, all that holds you back is the voice of fear.
When you are feeling scared or anxious, mindfulness and meditation will help you get over negative thoughts patterns and give you the power to let go of unhealthy thoughts and beliefs. You can let go of doubt by releasing any feelings you have towards yourself that have held you down. Meditation is powerful when you are dealing with unexpected circumstances in life, because creates awareness in your life. If you are facing problems, it’s important to be aware of your emotional state, so you are able to make better decisions, and to reflect before you react to negative circumstances.
If you keep hesitating and doubting your ability to achieve what you want, you will continue to live your life in the way you have been, and you distance yourself from the real you. Always think about what motivates your decisions. Perhaps you have faced disappointment, rejection in the past and that’s why you are so fearful to be guided by your dreams and desires, but you need to keep in mind that your future can be completely different. If you are not happy, it is a sign that you’ve had enough of how things are right now. In order to live your life the way you desire, you need to be feeling like you’re honouring yourself, rather than listening to your ego. When the ego is in control, you feel powerless over making healthy life changes and you’re blocked from your inner guidance, the loving voice within.
When you have done everything you can looking for a solution, and finding none, realise that the best solution is usually your initial instinct and move forward. Put your actions into motion and go for it. It will be easier to let go of negativity and worries, when you understand that what you want to achieve it’s something that reflect your personality and what most satisfies you. Changes always represent the end of something and the beginning of something else. Even when a change is planned, you can doubt yourself in the process, and others may contribute to make you feel insecure, but the most important thing is to understand that your comfort zone is your greatest enemy, and leaving your comfort zone provide you with an enormous opportunity for self-growth. The more you grow and change, the more you develop mental resilience. When fear is behind your decisions in life, you become inactive, you end up doing nothing, because you can only find the motivation to change your life for the better when you know your values and start living them out.
Remember that excitement and fear do not coexist, fear is associated with anxiety, depression, and lack of self confidence. Believe in yourself because living in fear can be draining and exhausting. When you worry about things, you are not helping the situation, you are spending your energy and your time focusing on the wrong things. Visualise yourself taking the steps towards something you want to achieve. Surround yourself with positivity. Constantly reminding yourself that what you want is in reach makes you feel driven, empowered, and armed with resources. You can be your best supporter, you just need to always believe that something wonderful is about to happen in your life.
