Benefits Of Bicarbonate Soda In Your Water

Baking soda is also called bicarbonate of soda or sodium bicarbonate. Many people may not know that sodium bicarbonate is not only good to eliminate acid-induced odors in refrigerators, carpets, and litter boxes. It can promote a more alkaline PH balance in the body. Bicarbonate is an alkaline substance naturally produced in the body, and it is a promising therapy, which can slow the progression of some diseases. Drinking baking soda water can balance the body’s pH level, and help to combat uric acid formation, gout, infection, indigestion, arthritis, heartburn and even Cancer. It promotes a more alkaline PH balance in the body (alkalinity is the reverse of acidity).

When our blood gets to be more acid or alkaline, we will probably get sick. Most of the microorganisms that cause diseases cannot live in alkaline conditions. If we eat more alkaline foods than required, we have a reserve that is stored in our blood plasma, and this reserve is used to maintain our blood’s PH balance; if the acidic levels in our blood are not balanced, our body becomes vulnerable to lots of things. Bacteria loves to grow in acidic environments. Acidity is necessary for effective digestion of food, but an overall alkaline PH in your body is considered healthier. You can overcome most infections by drinking baking soda water daily until the infection disappears. There are different dosages for this treatment, but it is safe to start with ½ teaspoon fully dissolved in one glass of water.

Our blood pH varies depending on what we eat, our health, our level of activity and stress, including other factors, but drinking  water and baking soda solution, can help us to maintain our energy levels up and combat/relief the bad effects of acidic foods in the body. Many components of our diet (sugars, most grains, meats, fish, dairy products sugars, alcohol and caffeinated drinks), contribute to our body becoming too acidic. To be truthful almost everything except vegetables, most fruits and, apple cider vinegar can make our body PH levels acidic.

Simple baking soda may also lessen the desire to smoke as well as reduce the desire for sugar and sweets. When you start feeling the symptoms of cold or flu, such as a runny nose or sneezing, drinking baking soda and water will help to kill the viruses. It has been demonstrated to reduce the duration of cold and flu, frequently eliminating symptoms in 36 hours. Remember that you can also raise your body alkalinity by increasing fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Lemons and limes are acidic but become alkaline in your body, raising your alkalinity almost as well as baking soda.
